Festival Florals & Boho Waves

June 16, 2016

On a scorching sunny day in early June we gathered a team of talented wedding industry lovelies together and headed out with a plan to capture some images of our accessories that not only showed them to their best but also inspired you lovely brides too.

It all started with a Pinterest board - yep this is as close as we get to planning a wedding! We're all about you being yourself on your big day, a more polished version yes but with bags of your own personality. The look we wanted to achieve was primarily relaxed with big festival inspired colourful blooms and tousled boho locks. Take a look at our top picks and be inspired...

Ivory & Co Fairytale hairvine

Hairvine: Ivory & Co 'Fairytale'

We wanted the bouquet to be super colourful and bright and bring together lots of different varieties of flower. The lovely Nicola from Eve Lily is a great friend of mine as well as an amazingly talented wedding and event stylist. What she doesn't know about flowers isn't worth knowing! We visited a local flower wholesaler together (such fun!) and began putting the vision into reality. The bouquet included peonies, tea roses, hydrangeas, delphiniums and oodles of greenery too for that thrown together, flower meadow look.

We searched long and hard for the right venue to hold the shoot. It needed to feel relaxed but also botanical and with a Secret Garden look too. Well after much deliberation I think we pretty much nailed it. Yes it's just my parents back garden and didn't Holly do an amazing job of making it look super spectacular?!

Florence Molly Shoes with Sassi Halford dress

Hairvine: Ivory & Co 'Solstice'  Shoes: Florence 'Molly'  Bag: Rainbow Club 'Marina'

We wanted the bride's hair to be slightly tousled and relaxed and exude the boho vibes. Forehead bands are big news in bridal at the moment so the hairstyle also had to work well with this look. The absolutely stunning floral crown was created by Nicola of Eve Lily and wasn't it gorgeous?! We're just loving the blue, peach and lilac combo.

Florence Lisa Brogues with Ivory & Co Blossom Bracelet

Shoes: Florence 'Lisa' lace brogues  Bracelet: Ivory & Co 'Blossom'
Earrings: Miss White Bride 'Rosa' silver studs

We're loving the combo of the Florence lacey 'Lisa' brogues with the pretty rose Blossom bracelet by Ivory & Co. Flat shoes really don't need to be boring or traditional anymore and these brogues look particularly gorgeous with a pair of jeans so we'd say they're a pretty good investment purchase too.

We don't just want to be a normal run-of-the-mill online shop we want to inspire brides-to-be and give them ideas on how to style their own wedding day look. We're always thinking of the next photo shoot and have plenty of ideas that we can't wait to share with you all.

Our passion is bridal styling and if there's anything you'd like us to help you with then please drop us a line on hello@misswhitebride.com we have bags of experience that we would love to put into practice.
